There are a number of reasons why you might be exploring family therapy as an option for your family. Family therapy can help in reducing conflict, increasing effective communication, supporting family members in increasing connection, defining boundaries and family expectations, and providing a safe space and support during times of transition. In family therapy, we can work together for each family member to feel heard and understood, identify family patterns and where you may get stuck, and find ways for each family member to get their needs met. Every family has its own unique strengths and challenges, and my goal is to work with you and your family to capitalize on your strengths and learn to build more harmonious and connected relationships with each other.
